The Platenhof is recognized by the German Equestrian Association (Fédération Nationale) as a tournament stable.
Nestled at the edge of the Lüneburg Heath with its abundant pine woods, vast pastures and lash meadows, fen and blooming heaths, the Platenhof's tempting ambience enchants its guests.


The half-timbered style of the equestrian centre, with a residential building and a guest house, indoor and stable area, is labelled by its individuality, harmony and comfort and blends well into the untouched nature that surrounds it.
